This role is fixed term for 12 months and a parental leave cover position. We offer a high level of flexibility and autonomy with the ability to work from home up to two days per week. We have opportunities to step up and deliver new programs and projects across the organisation.EAP services including access to career support, manager assistance, mental health and counselling services, nutrition/ diet advice, financial counselling, legal assistance etc.Giving back to communities by helping kids from low socio-economic or disadvantaged background.Key deliverables/ About the roleIn this role, you will:Provide administrative support to the CEO, Leadership team and the Board in a way that supports effective communications, enhances the organisation of our operations, and maintains the absolute security, integrity and confidentiality of the executive team and organisational information.Be the key point of contact for the CEO and manage all aspects of her diary and meetingsProvide an essential connection point between the CEO, General Managers, Managers, staff and external stakeholders.Play a pivotal role in organising internal and external events for our 50th year celebrations – this will include a major event and other smaller events throughout the yearParticipate in key projects such as quality audits, governance and compliance.Assist with compiling Board and committee papers, including distribution to Board Members in tight timeframes Draft and prepare correspondence, agendas, minutes, presentations and briefing notes to support the achievement of business requirements.Scheduling, preparation and minute taking for all leadership and Board Meetings.Essential skills, experience and qualificationsMinimum 5 years’ experience in a prior executive/ personal assistant role.Exceptional interpersonal, oral, written and digital communication skills.Excellent attention to detail.Outstanding communication and diplomacy skills, including the ability to communicate with all audiences with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a flexible style and approach.Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects across a very busy office and team environment with the proven ability to prioritise and meet very demanding deadlines.Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.Excellent computer skills with an in depth working knowledge of applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word, PowerPoint, and database experience.Energetic, self-motivated, and takes initiative.DesirablePrior experience working for in the education, allied health, or the not-for-profit sector is desirable but not essential.About usLearning Links was established in 1972 by parents concerned about the lack of appropriate support services to meet their children’s education and wellbeing needs.
