We currently have a newly created position available for a Prep for Preschool Manager to work part time (preferably Tues, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibly from the Oatley office and home. This role is only being advertised internally at Learning Links.  The role is responsible for the day-to-day supervision, management, and support of the Prep for Preschool program at Learning Links. The role supports and provides oversight to seven part time staff including an Early Childhood Teacher, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Child Care Workers, and Administration support. There is a strong focus in this new role on networking and building community networks and partnerships, as well as developing and implementing a strategic plan. This will be optimally delivered with insight from the team. About the roleThe Prep for Preschool Manager will liaise with, build, and maintain networks in the local community to ensure ongoing program awareness and participation. Promotion will include active networking with service providers and early learning centres in the area and providing resources regarding inclusion/disability/early intervention to promote awareness of, and engagement in, the program on an ongoing basis. The role will also work closely with Learning Links Marketing team to promote the local and online services through targeted collateral and advertising. A critical part of this position is to create and maintain an early intervention program that provides young children with additional needs including learning difficulties and/or disabilities, and their families, with access to specialist early childhood support to create pathways to early learning environments. The Prep for Preschool Manager will support the staff team to develop and deliver intervention programs/plans that reflect the needs of each child and priorities of their family. Children will be provided with weekly opportunities to engage in a wide range of play-based high-quality activities to enhance their learning and development, with the focus on the acquisition and maintenance of functional skills across the core domains. Professionals will develop a suite of products that can be available to families on topics relevant to promoting child development and goals.
